Need help with a request

I'm an online fanartist, but I have a problem. Someone asked me to draw this picture my way: http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-621603.html

Problem is, I've never drawn large characters before, so I need to some basic info on how to and, if possible, some links to pictures that could be of use as reference.

Here's a tip, look up the letters "B" "B" and "W" together on Google, look at the pictures.
