Not entirely growth...
Apparently 2chan has re-opened it's doors to non-japanese IP addresses...
For those who didn't realize, 2chan had closed access for western IPs again, but we can go to the forum itself now... I tried to view content but it's still giving me the error 403... At least we get thumbnails? http://toshi-2chan.ddo.jp/gts/b/

There is an Japanese imageboard called sweetnote which seems to have opened access to Western IPs (it never used to before) though I dunno if it has forums to our taste.
