Ok this contest has 2 parts. One is writing based the other is art based. This contest was inspiring by two pictures done by edgeling.

Basicly I would like to see Sequences of the avatar folk becoming one with their element and a story to go along with it. If lorekeep would be willing I would ask him to be a judge along with one other person of his choise along with myself.

To promote more people to enter for every 10 people that enter a contest I will add $100 to that contest prize. Also if a contest gets 15 people I will give monetary prize to 2nd and 3rd place. So if 10 people enter that is a $300 first place prize.

The rules are simple. The sequence must be a minimum of 5 pages Inculding 1 begining shot (Unchanged) and one ending shot (full changed) and 3 in progress shots. While having only one person being transformed is nessary more characters will most likely be ranked better. Also while B&W is fine color will be much prefered.

For the stories. The story must merely contain the detailed transformtion of at least 1 character to elemental form and must be a minimum of 10,000 words.

After judges are finalized a due date will be set. May everyone have a merry christmas!!

Hmm Due to lack of intrest and several people telling me that they are interested in the prize but not the subject matter I have decided to expand the contest. Here are some new choices for Transformations. If you have another idea that is not on this list tell me and I will give it a yay or nay. The characters for the below series must be well known and the transformations must be in some way related to the series (ex. Mario getting an odd shroom power, Link puting on a weird mask, Naruto screwing up a jutsu.)

I'm thinking about writing a story, schedule might be a bit tight. But I thought a picture was worth a thousand words not two.

On the Artwork, I assume 1 picture equals 1 page?

I ask because I also informed an artist I know about you contest.

1 page is 1 page It can be a full body shot or series of panels or anything as long as it show either a Beginning, process, or Ending shot.

I was hoping to get a reply from lorekeep so we could set a schedule.

hmm so far we have 3-4 saying they are going to write stories and 1-2 who may draw... I was kinda hoping for a better turn out. Also has anyone seen Lorekeep! I have sent him two pms but haven't heard anything from him yet. I was kinda hoping to hear from him by now...sighs. Maybe I am going about this the wrong way? I have noticed not many of my post get noticed so is there something I am doing wrong?
