From what I've seen on his blog and website, this manga is not characteristic of his other work (although the style is immediately identifiable). Kinda makes ya wonder how he took up this storyline...

At the risk of sounding like any number of Anons on certain image boards I could name, "source?" This is pretty definitely not from the Volume 1 compilation, so it ought to be one of the newer chapters. (EDIT: Argh! Never mind -- I looked again and saw that you'd said it was the tenth installment...) Is it known whether this came from TECHGIAN?

(I won't be able to look at the file until later, since Megaupload is one of many things that doesn't work on my ancient machine here...)

On the whole, it looks like Mayu does this only to right a wrong: in the images of the two incidents Shadow0000 posted, the woman involved is being relieved of "stolen goods". (The premise of this manga seems to be that, in this version of Edo-period Japan, breast size is directly related to wealth* and social status; so it's not unusual for there to be thieves and usurpers. So Mayu is not the only person who can do this...)

*possibly a play on words like binnyuu, one term for being small-breasted, but literally meaning "breast-poor"

There's a key scene I need to sit down and translate which has to do with that scroll Mayu carries, which apparently holds some relevant spell... (It also has some sort of healing capability as well, which figures in a couple of the stories. As with many legendary swords, this one can pass through garments and the rest of the body, in this case only affecting the breasts.)

The Magazine is "TECH GIAN", not "TECHGIAN" (this is very important for searching).

I can get the 2008-02 issue, so expect to see the last chapter if it's included there. The problem is TECH GIAN's releases a lot of "Magazines Appendixs", I don't think there are scans for older releases, unless someone has wrongly listed it as an appendix, or unless Manyu Hikencho is being serialized in one of those Appendixs, but I don't think this is the case.

I only found 2 Chapters made by this mangaka on Comic Kairakuten, and one of those was a questionable AR, where a Samurai has sex with the classic Snow Fairy, she later vanish, and the other day a little girl is standing outside the house.

Is there a possibility that TECH GIAN makes bimonthly DVD releases containing the Magazines + the Appendixs, I am seeing the release of those DVDs to coincide with the release of the main magazine, I going to guess it's so unless someone can tell me.

Anyways if it's so, it means all the chapters are "available", if you don't mind to download 4 to 6 GB for each one. I don't mind, but I don't have free space to even host the Cache, in fact I am needing an extra HD to use it for my Cache folders.

You're correct, of course: TECH GIAN is how Enterbrain has it on the magazine covers. I've seen both versions on pages around the 'Net, though, so it may be useful to search on both spellings for information...

I couldn't tell you the full contents on those DVDs, but my impression is that they include working games. TECH GIAN apparently produces a certain amount of "original content", in addition to announcing and previewing everyone else's eroge...

I can see the Magazine's cover, in one of the DVD release.

There are a few scans from the main magazine from 2004/2005. But every single DVD is available since 2005, and a few of 2004.

That would explain why there are a few scans from the magazine. So Vol.01 ends at Chapter 06, means there are 8 Chapters remaning, multiply per DVD, and it's almost impossible.

Anyways I don't see the point, by the time needed to download that kind of filesize, the mangaka will already release Vol.02, so... Still if it will have 6 Chapters like Vol.01, It would be understable to concentrate on Chapters 13/14 and any other new release.

The DVD files are splitted into a max of 1.9 GB, I wonder if I would be able to extract to browse through the partial DVD image, I won't have any trouble with the partial file, I wonder if the missing part will be filled with the typical "00000".

I'll try making a test with an image, compressing in 2 parts, deleting the last and see what I can get. Even if it works, I would still need to see in which fraction of the DVD the magazine is located, I am going to guess it's the first half.

But well, it may be fun...(no, it won't)

I got the scans for the 2008-02 issue of TECH GIAN, it contained about 300 (+ 50 from an appendix), and there wasn't any chapter from this series, the scans seemed to be complete, it even included the CD cover (but it may be missing other appendixs ?)

The cover is the same from TECH GIAN website, so yes the Magazine comes in a DVD. Though I am still not sure Manyu Hikencho comes in there, sincerely there were was an amazing mount of publicity, besides looking at etopirika's scans it almost on the page 500, so...

Publicity is what TECH GIAN (and a lot of the fan magazines generally) is all about! Thank you for checking into this. It is possible that there is no episode in that issue. From the story count, I think it is not a monthly feature, but just appears from time to time...

[EDIT: I finally got to download the story. Since #10 appeared in the August TECH GIAN (which answers one of my earlier questions), I'd say the series appears about every other month, on the average (there may be longer stretches without it).]

Thank you again for the posting! It looks like this story involves a traveling "medicine show" in which the "snake oil" (in this case, water from a secret source) promotes breast growth. (Yamada gets to have a little fun taking a poke at some of the nostrums and devices that appear on TV commercials and in print ads.) Of course, the parties involved are up to no good and Mayu will take action.

We also meet another kunoichi who may be involved in protecting the secret of the scroll. (I'm partly flying on guesses here without having the time to make a proper translation, so don't take what I say too seriously...)
