April O'neil

Hi guys I'm new here. Do you guys remember the old Ninja Turtles episodes?

Well remember April O'neil turned into a wasp, cat and fish.

I'm thinking old cartoons have better tf scenes than new ones.

I wouldn't mind clips of her transformations by the way .

Thanks

Read it. Learn it. Accept it. Carry on.

It's still a request. Those are highly frowned upon here.

As for the episodes, yea April was changed into many things. Not much process involved except in the cat TF, but even that was negligible.

Nah. They're about the same. Some good, some bad, mostly poofs. April only really had the one good tf. The fish one takes place offscreen, and the wasp one, while nice, is way too quick; looks like part of it was cut out. The gradual cat tf's not the best for pure process, but the episode as a whole is terrific.

I can think of at least one modern tf scene that holds its own against anything from the past. In an episode of X-Men: Evolution (Spykecam), Rogue absorbs Sabretooth's powers, and wolfs out. A thing of beauty.

I have that Rogue TF on DVD.. strange thing is though in the special features they outright say that they had set a rule for themselves in making the show that Rogue wouldn't take on the phyiscal appearance of anyone who's powers she absorbed. They broke their own rule, admitted they broke it.. but never said why they did it. Another thing.. Sabretooth did not have those features.. he didn't have pointy ears or fur.. so she wasn't copying that from him at all.. my guess is that one or more people involved in that show's production had a lil bit of a TF fetish themselves and that's why that scene even exists.. same could be said for a lot of TF scenes.. hell.. look at the Gargoyles series..

I wouldn't be the least bit surprized if the people responsible for those shows on some level have a fetish for transformation.. otherwise I don't see why those scenes would be there or why some of them are the way they ended up in the final aired product.

Lastly, this guy didn't break any rule with his post. Even if he had tried to sneak a request in.. that's not against the rules. This wasn't not a "gimme gimme" post, you're not even reading that rule for what it says, you're putting your own twist on it. The only person who's allowed to enforce that rule is Lorekeep, not you, nor anyone else here can tell this guy what to post and what not to post. So shut up about that rule, you don't even understand what it says.

Man I love the ninja turtles! I for one liked them even before the TF hu-bub and thought they were really funny. And if you want to talk about furry/TF fetish look at the TMNT COMIC BOOK series.

Anthro animals everywhere, its really weird O_o

Of course, I'm not a TMNT fan for the "comedy", The action is the thing!

That a fact?

I don't like them. At All. People do the same with website updates. What's more, people often request the same shit that's been posted elsewhere countless times before.
Seems pretty simple and straightforward to me. Nothing to spin there. But hey, you can jump on my case seeing as I'm still more a lurker than anything...and let the other, more prolific posters constantly jump on newcomers even worse than I did. No hypocrisy there, nope. No double standards at all.

So I'm closing / deleting any new threads that I constitute to be begging or bad requests.
I can follow that. I can accept and understand that. I'm certainly not stating anywhere in my original response that if the thread creator didn't clean up his act I would attack him like a starving hyena, ban him and hunt down his children with flamethrowers. All I did was point out the rules for the poster to read, and left it at that. Nothing to interpret. My follow up post was commenting on the fact that requesting IS highly frowned upon. There's been many times I've seen people just jump on someone for making a smidget of a request...and noone bats an eye.

Maybe I made it seem bigger than it was in my first post, and I can apologize for that if necessary. But if we're going to hit people with hammers on the heads....lets be even across the board. If you're going to jump on one person pointing out the rules, you better attack all those who do the same, regardless.

Back to the topic at hand....

I've seen the Rogue TF and think that's one of the best ones ever, cartoon wise. It does make you wonder if some of the cartoon makers don't have a secret fetish sometimes, especially if the change doesn't make any sense (such as Rogue's).

No no man, it's not you. Just a little overzealousness on our part. You're fine.
