There's also this old movie "The Leech woman" that has pretty much the same plot device as above, although set in modern times.

I ended up downloading it, since you can't buy it. It's interesting how they pull the whole thing off.

I especially like it when whoever's gotten enhanced gets cocky and acts all superior in front of people she has become better than. Then, when it wears off and goes into reverse, it is revealed to them all so she becomes humiliated. You reap what you sow...

Reminds me somewhat of an old Tom and Jerry bit; the cat mixes up a bunch of poisons to kill the mouse, only it backfires and the mouse gets buff and super-strong.
It wears off and the mouse tries to mix up another batch, only for the cat to snatch it away. The cat drinks it and initially gets bigger and meaner-looking but then *pop pop fizzle* shrinks until he's no bigger than the mouse. The mouse knocks him on his back and *pop pop fizzle* the cat shrinks to half his size. One last smack from the mouse and the cat's turned bug-size, and the mouse chases him offscreen with a swatter or some such.

I swear, I felt so bad for that cat sometimes...

We've seen AR-to-AP, but how about the reverse? A teenage girl uses a process to become an adult, but slingshots into a 6-year-old body.

(I suppose I should mention the scenes from Pretty Sammy and Brigadoon, which didn't come to mind until just now.)

I belive they did somehting like this in the collecter series tv show. were one of 2 sisters wants all the looks to keep the other sister out of the picture... dont rember the full details of the epsiode proablly on U-tube somewere...
