Good rule of thumb. Unless there is already a thread about it here. Then odds are it has yet to be shown here. Seeing as nearly everything that isn't on an English site isn't seen by the vast majority of the people here. Most of us really don't read/speak/write/understand Japaneses...

Thing is, sometimes you can't really search keywords on random images. For all I know, someone could have posted before with a thread titled "Glasses girl" or posted it in a comment on a completely different thread. Also, you might not know the info (such as artist name, title, site) to even search for.
