I never understood how a ball has more curves then an hourglass. A higher precentage of roundness, but the number of independent curves? It's just one all the way.

Or you can keep slicing a sphere in half as many times as you want, and each "slice" will be a curve on its own. TECHNICALLY a sphere has an infinite number of curves to it.
