Good for you for wanting to contribute.. Poser is what it is, a useful tool to make Art. And Art as they say is in the eyes of the beholder.. Who knows a few years down the road you may become a top notch 3D artist.

Hopefully you will find that poser is just a beginning of an idea not an end in itself. Do not give up on drawing figures. If anything poser will inspire and instruct you in proper pose technic, were shadows should fall what to highlight or reflect. Its easy to see were the eyes, nose ,mouth, chin should be when using poser as a study tool on your own drawings.. The hands are sometime quite difficult to draw but with poser you can see were you want to go with a gesture before you draw it.. I think this program can be useful to almost any artist whatever there skill level. Add in photoshop to draw cloths ,hair, lines to the face and add shadows ect..

I suggest you look at the poser gallery at Renderosity and Renderotica. There you will see the good ,the bad, and the down right ugly..And sometimes you will see a work that is breathtaking in its execution ..thats why I go to look , to study at the table that a master has set. Some of these works took many, many hours to set up ,render and post work. There is no queston that this is Art. Look at the other 3d programs while at Renderosity ,you will be amazed at what can be done. Good luck to you and happy rendering. cheers!
