There's a heckuvalot of good content pay sites out there - but not too many people can afford to stay subscribed to that many of them for at the same time for any extended period of time (although for certain ones, I've been subscribed for over a year at a time multiple times) - it's a question of $$$/content. Not saying it's not worth it, but on a monthly basis, and the specific type of content (say 3rd-art - if you're looking for the BE content) - it's not really going to be your thing on a monthly basis - although that's also the reason some sites charge more for the first month and a discounted rate afterwards.
