wow, the thread is brought back from the dead!

Bozo - It can be done, and I did start working on a fully clothed growth sequence but then work got in the way and I put it on the back burner. It keeps rolling through my mind tho, so I'll revisit it sometime.

A while back someone talked with me about a commission, but I told him I'd have to charge $10/per second of animation for a very minimal set and one character. (which is IMO a very low price) 3D is a time consuming task.

I used Animation Master for all this, and figured out a workaround/cheat to accomplish the tearing. Right now I'm learning C4D and apparently its cloth system has tearing supported in its options, you can even set seams for it to tear along. very cool stuff.

Considering the type of action that can go on in a short amount of time, I wouldn't consider $10/hour unreasonable at all.

I do see that the ripping has been done (quite well), but my main question is the shoes. Whatever style it may be, boots, sneakers, sandals...can they rip off as part of an overall sequence as well?

That's just my thing, weird as it may be. I would rather have that aspect of growth as part of an overall scene than see it alone. This is what I'd pay to see though.

Saving to drive first or trying to just click on it and have it immediately play? QuickTime doesn't always use your cookies and logon information, and I can't remember if The Process lets you download something without logging in, so that'd stop you cold.
