Last real attempt at a central location was Shadowlurkers, back before Geocities really got crappy, then fans just migrated to Yahoo Clubs which mutated in Yahoo Groups due to the free nature of them. Age old story of nobody wanting to cough up.

That said, compared to many, the groups those images come from certainly make an effort to produce new work...

True enough CK01 but I think that maybe with Google ads it could pay for itself.

But then a lot of people feel almost as strongly about ads as they do about paying. Ah, well.

I do remember Shadowlurker... quite an ingenious setup his site used to tap as much free webspace as possible. Still, Yahoo Groups aren't ALL bad. I just don't care for them very much... and no one ever seems to manage them very well... but that's just me, I want everything easy.

Hence, my TF blog.

Both Chris Morea and the occasional works of Tom Burgos are two of the best growth artists in the community. A third artist of worthy note is The Manic, he has produced alot of works, and they are of a very high quality, with always plenty of process in all the right areas.
