And are you serious? There's tons of waiting times here in the US, too, even for those with insurance.

Never said otherwise, I wasn't comparing the two. The point was that Canada's system just exchanges one set of problems for another and I think I did make that clear enough.

Basic preventative care would save billions of dollars.

You think people don't do that already?

Whatever preventative care would save would be chicken feed compared with getting rid of all the regulatory burden that weighs down the system.
