HOB clearly said the reason they became angry to the point of wanting to inflict physical harm on the creationist being discussed is they were cutting them off and shouting over them. HOB also provided a detailed explanation of why this behaviour causes them such frustration:

(I am overly sensitive about anything that I persieve (spelling?) as censorship do to the continuous trauma inflicted on me in elementary school (Related to a speech impediment I had and resulted in me trying to kill myself in second grade on multiple ocassions).

The notion HOB wants to hurt others because they think they’re wrong is something entirely made up by you and you owe HOB an apology for suggesting something so insulting about them without a basis.

Actively denying scientific evidence upon which all modern biology is based in favour of a myth for which there is absolutely no evidence is dangerous, and you might hurt someone some day. It’s called fundamentalism. It makes people stupid and, in doing so, slows human progress.

I know it’s in the creationist’s nature to commit libel in order to “win” debate due to their lack of legitimate argument. To the rest of the world though, you look like a jerk grasping at straws.

With that, I'm drawing my commentary on this thread to a close. I'm in no mood to argue with people who are thoroughly convinced that their view on the universe is so incredibly absolute that it can't even be conceived of as anything other than concrete fact.

A special part of me finds it amusing that the insults still fly. Thank you for proving your prejudice.

By the way, whether or not he interrupted her is irrelevant. The desire to inflict physical pain from nothing other than a discussion, heated as it was, is still a definite case of anger management issues. Psychological help would still be advised.
