You know I've been looking at this thread for a bit when it started but I got board of it when people just kept posting what the game should be and such, which are great, but I have question
has anyone decieded on what kind of game its gonna be, and what its gonna look like?[ie is it 3D, or 2D] and is there even gonna be a game sometime in the future or is everyone just posting what ever they want? |

Muhznit, have you played games like lode runner, jumpman or Kings Valley. They are plateformer puzzle type games that you must solve by figuring out the puzzle before you can make it to the next level. It would be neat if there was a female heroine that needs to use breast expansion to get through the puzzle.

Mmm, I'd be careful around puzzle platformers. Sure, there's great potential, but poor puzzle design can ruin such a game.
Not that I'm saying no-one here could produce a decent puzzle, of course, just that anyone who makes the attempt should be pretty sure of themselves - and should get some careful playtesting and feedback before they release. It's easy to make a puzzle that's too difficult, or too confusing, or too frustrating, and not realise it because the solution seems obvious to the puzzle designer. |

(I wrote all the below on the assumption you meant a first-person shooter. I guess a scrolling shooter in the Raiden or Touhou vein would be a different kettle of fish.)
With a shooter we'd have to worry about ragdoll and character physics, which, for obvious reasons, would be more important than in a non-BE based game. (Ugh, clipping errors could look very bad.) For that matter, it'd be hard to balance (no pun intended). Sure, bigger breasts could translate to more health, but they also make a character a bigger, more sensitive target, and the benefits and disadvantages depend heavily on player skill and playstyle. There's another reason, too. Most shooters are games where you need to be contantly on edge, paying attention to your surrounds, looking out for any hint of a threat. A constant state of tense readiness isn't very compatible with 'enjoying the view.' |

It seems the consensus so far is 2D RPG with the main female avatar's breasts increasing in size as she levels up. I haven't seen as many ideas about how multiplayer would work, but at least a couple of people have mentioned it... though it seems most people don't really want or think about it being online... And yes I am planning on making something but it's going to be one of those long and "when it's done" projects because I have to do it in my spare time and because I want it to be awesome. I doubt anyone wants to write a whole detailed design and I doubt even more that anyone could write a game design that everyone here would agree with, but I think the great ideas and design discussion going on here are really enlightening. I think I have gotten a good sense of the general idea I would go for, thanks mostly to all this awesome feedback. i belive would be great for start and make a "school" of BE games, make for now a BE versions of retro games for gain exp for the BIG GAME
i'm studing the posibility for do a Arkanoid-Space Invaders stile with BE opinions? |
