Head's Up, possible AR in a manga I'm working on...

Just came up with this idea and so I'm working my ass off at figuring out what to do and such, but basically it's a time-travel story about a 15 year old guy sent back 30 years into the past by accident courtesy of his mad-scientist teacher.

There will be a pseudo AR-AP when he compares a girl he meets with her future self mentally in one scene.

The AR that WILL happen is when the mad-scientist teacher goes back to recover the boy but accidentally makes physical contact with her past self, causing a temporal conundrum of sorts that merges the two versions of herself and finally AR'ing into her younger form but retaining all her memories from her older self.

I'll try to update with some drawings later, but felt it important to mention this.

Interesting concept, just keep in mind in Manga go right to left with small arrows pointing the way to each panel. No one seems to understand what the team Manga means anymore. It was an issue I ran into before doing my own age regression art work. Also lots of process, baggy clothing, the works. Most people around here typical don't like normal poof and done scenes. (Just a request). Otherwise I can't wait to see it.

Yeah, I say 'manga' because it'll be done in the anime style. I would normally do the right-to-left format, but sad as it may sound, there are some anime-fans who still don't understand that concept, so I'm sorta making it easy for people to follow in a western comic layout done with my anime art-style.

And the scene will include baggy clothing, visible (but Teen-rated) size/body diminishing, and ultimately will have some Mental AR from the whole merging with her past self (mad genius + 10yr old personality + 35yr old mentality = WIN). Oh, and changing the time traveling to be 25 years in the past, so it'll be in the mid-80s.

Okay, got the cover done. Like all my art, it's 100% done in MS Paint, start to finish. The girl on the left is the girl my main character meets in the past. The woman on the right is his mad-scientist teacher who accidentally sends him into the past and (later) ends up AR'ing to a 10 year old when she accidentally comes into contact with her past self while trying to retrieve the guy in the past.

Nicely done for art in a weak program like MS Paint. Photoshop is such a huge difference in what the artist can do, but I am amazing it came out this well for that program.

Not to get too big of a head, but I'm quite proficient in Paint. I never got into Photoshop or Gimp because I never was able to own a copy or the copy I downloaded was deleted (gone through a few computer crashes from cybernetically transmitted diseases, CTDs, over the years).

ANYWAY, so I had to teach myself to use Paint to the best of my abilities in the absence of higher-end programs. I actually draw better in Paint than in actual sketching (sad but true). I could never outdo my old sketches' shadings, though.

EDIT: Redid the cover to give the teacher a more coy look. You guys think it's better? Oh, and a chibi page too.
