Well I only said it might...honestly I don't know that it does or does not, but I don't think it too much a stretch for the imagination to see that people who consider doing something "wrong" will often seek validation. I'm just saying that in this case, in the absence of evidence, it's okay to err on the side of caution. And in the particularly lonely place that suicide resides, I could see potential victims looking to strangers for that validation before anyone closer to them.

Everything else you responded with, I will concede to. I don't know why I even used the "other people are worse" argument...I always hated that one, and it never worked when I've felt down. But I will maintain that no one should kill themselves. Sorry to give you the impression that I was trying to pass it as a fact...I assumed the word "should" being in there is a dead ringer for an opinion statement. Something about saying that someone is "better off dead" really bothers me.

Manslaughter. The actions of these nine bullies led directly to the suicide of this girl. In fact, all those teachers are accessories through inaction. I want the book thrown at them, not to make an example out of them, it's gone well beyond that, but because someone is dead because of the decisions they made and they have proven to show no remorse for it.
