Now, I let you guys wait way to long for the Ilia-and-cursed-diamond subplot's conclusion (which was like the Anju subplot's conclusion, pretty close by) so I wrote a very long chapter. It occasionally even switches between characters (from Link to Midna). These moments are marked with an underscore. I'll warn you that I'm still bad with romance, so prepare to cringe a few times. ![]() The cool wind passed Link and Midna by as the Hyrule Castle Town came nearer. Midna was rather shocked that she hadn?t even noticed the bouncing of her breasts up until now, as though it were a normal thing. Suddenly, Midna gasped and her grip on Link weakened. Link quickly halted Epona, and looked back at Midna with a worried look in his eyes. Midna had felt a burning, unpleasant sensation through her body along with a vision. The vision had been as bizarre as it had been disturbing. A bell was molten in a cauldron as people solemnly watched. ?I think? I think that somewhere, the curse just lost its grip,? she said in a breathless voice. She could think of no other explanation. Link still looked at her, wondering if she needed any medical attention. ?Come on, Link!? she said, smiling brightly all of a sudden. ?Other people are doing a great job about this curse. Let?s show them we?re all fighting together!? Link smiled, and the journey continued. It was a matter of seconds before they stopped at the gates of Hyrule Castle Town. Midna was kind of annoyed that they had to pass through the crowds, but the matter at hand was far more important. Link and Midna walked past the townspeople at a quick pace, and ignored any staring eyes as much as they could. It didn?t take long before they reached the gates of Hyrule Castle itself, guarded by two obviously bored men. As Link and Midna came near, suddenly the guards were paying attention. One guard whispered to the other, ?That guy has a pretty good looking shadow.? The other snickered. Midna pretended she didn?t hear the whispers and tried her best not to get angry. ?I need to speak to Princess Zelda immediately!? she said. ?Heh,? one of the guards said, ?that?s fine. You?re obviously not concealing any weapons. Although?? the other snickered again. Link drew his sword with the intention to scare them. ?But that guy,? the other guard said, ?he?s armed. He?ll have to wait here.? ?Are you serious? This is the man who saved Hyrule. Look, get your idiotic rear end in the palace and tell Zelda that Link and Midna need to speak with her. She?ll understand,? Midna said, now annoyed. Without another word, one of the guards turned and went into the palace. Just a minute later, he came running back looking a little pale. ?The Princess says to let them in immediately,? he said in a breathless voice. The guards stepped aside and apologized several times. Link and Midna went into the palace at last, and the Princess herself was waiting inside. ?I?m glad to see you, Link and Midna,? she said solemnly. She either pretended to be oblivious to just how much Midna had changed, or had known it long beforehand. ?Thank you, Zelda,? Midna said, and then quickly turning to the business at hand, ?See the diamond in Link?s hand? It?s extremely dangerous to touch by any woman, and holds one under its curse. We?ve been trying for long to destroy it.? Zelda looked at the diamond in Link?s hand. It shone brighter than ever, as though it very much wanted to be closely examined by Zelda. Zelda turned, and walked in the direction of her throne as she began to speak. ?The curse is even more dangerous than I thought. Destroying the diamond in any normal way would spread the curse a hundred times? Thus, the only logical way to rid ourselves of it entirely would be to somehow keep the curse in place.? ?But how?? asked Midna anxiously. ?If it could be molten in the magma of the Goron Mines, that magma would be cursed. However, I doubt anyone touching the lava would consider some gradual growth their worst problem at that time,? Zelda said coming surprisingly close to humor for being who she was. ?So if the diamond is molten in the magma? the curse will attempt to spread, but it will only spread in the magma and not be able to get out of it?? Midna said, surprised. ?That?s the effect I assume and hope this method of destruction will have,? Zelda said. ?Well, what are we standing around for? A girl?s back is at stake!? Midna said, giving Link a gentle push. Link gave her an odd look. ?No no, nothing?s wrong with my back so I doubt Ilia?s back? well... It was a joke,? Midna said. Zelda rolled her eyes. Midna and Link thanked Zelda for her advice, and left. It felt sudden, but there was nothing left to say. Both Link and Midna gave an icy glare to the guards as they left. After just a short walk, Hyrule Field greeted them again. Despite her previous remark, Midna?s back wasn?t cheering at the thought of walking up a mountain with her slightly unbalanced front. ?Link? do you mind bringing me back to Ordon? It would be wise to keep an eye on her,? Midna said. Link agreed, and soon Epona?s swift legs were trampling the fallen leaves of the Faron Woods. As Link finally halted and Midna?s breasts made a final, massive bounce she scolded herself in her thoughts for not noticing the bouncing again. Link and Midna got off of Epona, and Link gently touched Midna?s shoulder and nodded. Midna figured this meant ?take care, and say hello to Ilia?. She nodded back, and Link jumped back on Epona. This journey would be nothing out of the ordinary and he knew it. _ Midna smiled as she saw Link and Epona energetically race through the Faron Woods again. It had practically become a daily routine. She turned and went into the Ordon Village to look for Ilia. She wondered just how bad the curse had affected her over this day. She glanced around the village, which was quite peaceful in the late afternoon. Ilia strangely wasn?t home, so Midna had to look around for a bit. ?Now, where would I go in this village if I wanted to be alone?? She quickly figured it out. She knew the small river that went through Ordon Village led to a small, separate part of the village where no one lived. Link had gone fishing there once. She followed the river, and soon, her suspicion was proven correct. There was Ilia, her feet in the water. She wore a short, beige skirt and a beige bra, probably borrowed from one of the adult women in the village. Even so, neither of them seemed to fit her properly. Midna noticed that Ilia?s breasts had grown just a little more in the past hours. Upon seeing Midna, Ilia quickly stood up. ?Where?s Link? What did Zelda say?? she said anxiously. Midna tried to ease her worries. She smiled and told her about Zelda?s advice and that Link should have the diamond destroyed in mere minutes. Midna expected a shy smile back, but instead, Ilia?s face was confused and pained. ?But, I?m more attractive like this? Right?? she said, looking at her body?s reflection in the river. ?And yet, you? Link is always hanging around you. Is it because you?re more attractive?? Midna honestly had no idea how to respond to this situation. It was so hideously unlike Ilia to behave like this. ?We had Hyrule to save. We have evil to stop. That?s why we?re together,? Midna said quietly. Ilia didn?t seem content with that answer at all. ?Link, please hurry?? Midna thought to herself. _ Link had only just arrived in Kakariko Village. He was in high spirits as he felt the curse was finally going to be defeated. Suddenly, he heard angry voices. He looked around, but the voices came from the diamond in his hand. He thought he heard Ilia, expressing her doubt in the removal of the curse. He decided the curse was playing some filthy tricks to get to him, and he stepped off Epona and began the climb of Death Mountain. _ Ilia went on, becoming increasingly angry for no reason at all. ?If I had a say in this, I?d tell Link to keep this ?curse? on me. Eventually, I?ll be able to rival you!? Midna bit her lip and thought of a possible subject to talk about to get her mind off of this. ?If this curse can somehow hear me, listen to this: There?s no defense from my side. No resistance. Have your way,? Ilia went on. ?Oh dear?? Midna thought. ?The curse has played disgustingly well on her attraction to Link.? Suddenly, something grabbed Midna?s attention. Ilia was changing. The beige bra she was wearing was getting tighter and tighter, her nipples clearly poking through. It was slowly being torn apart by two rapidly swelling breasts. Her beige skirt also began to show signs of ?aging?, rips appearing everywhere. Ilia simply started at Midna with a determined look on her face. ?Ilia, you have to keep defending yourself against the curse before you become one with it!? Midna yelled. ?Afraid to be beaten by a human, shadow girl?? Ilia?s now very cold voice said. Midna panicked. What should she do? Knock Ilia out? Call for help? Nothing reasonable came to mind as she thought of Link. _ The entrance to the Goron Mines was in sight. Link had been overhearing the entire conversation from the diamond. He looked at the accursed object, and really wished he could just throw it away. He was astounded to see the image of Ilia inside the diamond. Her clothes were stretching as her body changed. ?She offering no resistance to the curse anymore?? Link realized in shock. He clutched onto the diamond firmly and ran for the Goron Mines. It was very warm up on the Death Mountain, and Link felt he couldn?t keep running for much longer. He arrived at the entrance, and stood a moment, panting. The heat of the magma burning inside was unbearable. _ Ilia kept staring at Midna, her face growing some kind of evil grin. ?Stop it!? Midna shouted. ?Link! Now! Stop the curse now!? she shouted as if she knew he heard her. _ Link heard Midna?s voice, and without wasting another moment he cast the diamond into the fiery magma. He had expected it to float on the magma for some time, but it sank right to the bottom. _ ?EEEEEARGHHH!? Ilia shrieked, and fell to her knees. Her body stopped growing in an instant. She got back up in a flash, and ran right for Midna. She threw a fierce punch in the direction of Midna?s head, but Midna dodged the last second, quite surprised. She prepared herself for the next attack, but none came. Ilia fell to her knees again, her face in her hands. ?What have I said? What have I done?? Midna walked back toward Ilia and stood beside her. ?It?s over,? she said after some time. She wasn?t good at comforting people. Ilia began speaking, more to herself than anything else. ?These past hours, my thoughts turned dark. The whole world became blurred, and there was only Link and me?? she began. She stood up and looked Midna in her eyes. ?And there was you.? ?And Link was only with you, his eyes never spending more than mere moments on me,? she continued. ?And though I knew I shouldn?t be thinking like that, my thoughts became more and more drowned in that darkness. I?m so ashamed?? ?It wasn?t your fault. The curse is powerful and dangerous?? Midna said. ?And it gets even more ferocious when cornered.? ?But it can?t make feelings. It only brought out feelings I had,? Ilia went on. ?It didn?t bring them out, it twisted and abused them,? Midna answered. ?Look? I?m sorry for what I said and did,? Ilia said. She turned and walked away. Midna sighed. ?That could?ve gone a lot worse if Link had taken any longer about destroying that cursed diamond,? she said out loud. Link knew things had gone out of hand back in Ordon, and had hasted back to his trusty horse and was already back in the Faron Woods. He jumped off of Epona as soon as he reached his house, and ran into the Ordon Village to see Ilia go back in her house and slamming the door. At that moment, he saw Midna running in his direction. Midna?s breasts bounced incredibly, much to her annoyance, but she had to speak to Link right away. ?Link? Ilia. She went crazy the moments before and after you destroyed the diamond?? she said. Link looked at Ilia?s house. ?I think she was allowing the curse to have its way for you, Link,? Midna said. Link looked confused. Ilia had been his childhood friend, and very dear to him, but he had never cherished any romantic thoughts for her. ?You should go, ?talk? to her, Link,? Midna said. Link nodded, and went to Ilia?s house. He wasn?t sure at all what he could do about Ilia?s sorrow. He knocked on the door, and no reply came. He tried a few more times, and waited. The door slowly opened, and before him stood a completely surreal image. A completely sexualized version of his childhood friend. But her face had gone unchanged. Her ever emotional eyes were filled with tears. She looked down at the ground, and said nothing. Link knew he had to show her he did care for her, but he certainly wasn?t the touchy kind. But he certainly couldn?t stand watching his dear friend in tears like this. He gently wiped off the tear running down her cheek. Ilia looked up and into his eyes. A small, broken smile appeared on her face. She wrapped her arms around Link, and gave him a hug. Link hugged her back gently, while not trying to raise a romantic impression. Ilia was apparently not about to let him go, so he just stood around. Eventually someone made a somewhat annoyed cough. When Link looked to his side, there was Midna impatiently tapping her foot and rolling her eyes. Link made a face that said ?I can?t help it?. Ilia let go a few seconds later. ?Well!? Midna said after silence had fallen again. ?I think that takes care of our last problem here. Now we just need to rely on the people elsewhere to take care of the rest,? she said cheerfully. Ilia couldn?t help but smile at Midna?s positive attitude. As Ilia had finally realized Link cared for her, she was willing to put the past behind her, and as such the three of them decided to enjoy the peace they could finally have. That evening, they walked through the entire province of Ordon, admiring all there was to see. Any travelers passing the group by and observing the women thought the same. ?What in the name of the Goddesses do they feed those goats here?? |

Re: Midna BE Story
D'aww, that was really sweet, more ways than one with Ilia giving into the curse for a moment. XD
Adding a dragon TF for Ruto sounds interesting. Though when I think of 'dragon' when it comes to a zora, I think of something more... aquatic; like a sea dragon/serpent or a leviathan, if you will.

The serpent idea sounds awesome.
Good chapter, too. And then the Gorons went swimming. |

Re: Midna BE Story
Oh wow... I'd hate to see what a cursed female Goron would look like. Wait... do Gorons even have women, or are they like dwarfs from Lord of the Rings?

![]() Hmmm... I still have a hard time thinking how I could make a transformation like that relevant. It'd be hard pressed to play on her attraction to Link or anyone with a transformation like that, and being a Sage, she doesn't have a deep-seated greed for power either. Quote:
Thanks. The Gorons are either all male, or just not humanoid enough to be cursed. :P So yeah, there only being one plot arc left, Nabooru's, I think the curse should be getting someone else. Have you guys made up your mind? If you were thinking of Ruto's serpenty TF, well, be sure to explain to me how it could be relevant or fitting to the story. |

Re: Midna BE Story
Nice chapter, my boy. Nabooru's arc is the current unresolved one...I hope more arcs will happen, though.
I want Saria, Zelda, and Ruto arcs myself. As for Ruto, her serpent transformation could be blamed on being the Water Sage. Of course, her slowly becoming human(to be able to snatch her Link) could be done. |

Re: Midna BE Story
Perhaps the curse wishes to make Ruto more "primal" in nature in order to possibly persuade her into embracing her changes. The water dragon thing (I guess stuff like sharper teeth, larger body, spikier fins, etc) could be a more primitive form of a zora (like the zora/zola enemies from older games). Also maybe the curse could prey and amplify her lust for link, not in a completely sexual sense (since I assume you're still not into the more graphic stuff being added to this story), but in a sort of possessive sense, maybe?

Well yeah, right now I don't either. If I would write it, it wouldn't play on any fetish I have, and on top of that I can't really seem to fit it in the story. But if pretty much everyone wants it, eh, what choice do I have? |

Re: Midna BE Story
True, as interesting as it would be, there doesn't really seem to be a real clear reason for TF in this situation that I can see, since the curse was meant to enhance beauty.
But keep in mind these are just suggestions, in the end it's all up to you what you do with this story.
