Possible Lizard process in "Spider-man" Reboot?
So yeah, I remember creating a thread about the same thing in original "Spider-man 4" that was supposed to be released. But since that's not ever happening I'll just make a fresh one for the new, yet, very debatable Spider-man movie.
Well it's actually been confirmed this time instead of rumors dispersing across the net. http://screenrant.com/spider-man-reb...-schrad-82765/ I'm sure most of you already discovered this months ago when they announced it. But seeing as this is a fresh new cast, especially the director and Curt Conner for that matter, I can only wonder how they will perceive the process from Dr. Conner to Lizard. Typical "blink process"? Or will it actually be in detail?

Unless they make Dr. Conner a girl, I'm not interested.

What they said. Also, wrong section (which I would guess is the cause of the last few responses)

Poor Dylan Baker played Dr. Conner for three movies and now they bring someone else in. Lame.

Given its a reboot complete with origin story again, seemingly nobody from the earlier films is coming back.

I just hope it's not like in Spectacular Spider Man, where his head CAVES IN ON ITSELF. Geez, that was grim.

Weeeeell, the shots released (apart form showing horribly tweaked red-and-blue costume) seem to angling more so for the very young teen look of Ultimate and Spectacular...

Re: Possible Lizard process in "Spider-man" Reboot?
I'm not even remotely excited about this movie, and I love Spider-Man. Raimi's first two movies were great, and the third wasn't exactly bad. Why do we have to have a complete reboot? Ugh. I don't really want Raimi doing another Spider-Man, but can't they just make a new movie without doing the Uncle Ben, power/responsibility, stuff again?

Re: Possible Lizard process in "Spider-man" Reboot?
They reboot a franchise when they get too far from the origin story. An origin story is easy to do, and perhaps a spinoff with a cool badguy origin vs. the hero for a sequel, but a new story that gets away from the origin is too risky, so hollywood almost never does one.
These guys can't identify new cool ideas, nor can they recognize good scripts, so they look for something that seems to have mass appeal to a target demographic and green light it. Then its on to the next new fad. |
