Green Lantern: Emerald Knights

Has anyone seen Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (the most recent DC one-shot animated movie) yet?

It's really good...I particularly liked the adaptation of "Mogo Doesn't Socalize," though the casting of Roddy Piper as Bolphunga the Unrelenting was sort of weird (granted, his voice was pretty fitting for Bolphunga's personality).

Piper works as Bolphunga.

I'd certainly be curious to see who'd they cast for Larfleeze if he ever makes it to animation.

Yeah, I always draw a blank on what he would/wouldn't sound like.

My favorite Green Lantern has always been Arkiss Chummuck pity they could not have a story with him. (he is only breifly seen in the final battle).

Over all the first GL animated movie was better and the recent Thor animated movie was a funner watch.

I definitely agree on the former, but I'm not sure about the later.

I'm not really a fan of those "when they were younger" prequel stories, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a rental so I can decide for myself.

Oh! No, I'm talking about that animated Green Lantern direct-to-video anthology movie that was just released to cross-promote the live-action movie coming out on the 17th.

Sorry about any confusion...to be honest, the only advance showing of a movie I ever got was for Silent Hill back in 2006 because I made employee of the month at the theater I was working for.

I saw it. My friend was surprised by Atrocitus in there, because of how different he looks from the comic books. We both liked the more demonic, alien appearance he gets in there though compared to the human body with the heart like face with teeth.

The young Thor movie was rather bland to me. Didn't care for it. Making the current score for Marvel movies being only one I liked, Doctor Strange.
