For those of you who don't want to bother looking through them all, there's nothing processy, just a lot of before and after forms. A good few of them are women, though!

Sadly we still have to rely on this for our MTG fetish material.

Hey, there's this one too

And while it wasn't in-game, Fallen Angels were transformed Serra Angels, they actually put out a comic for that once.

Also, I have to ask, please, where is your signature pic from? It's quite.. hypnotic

Re: Magic: the Gathering - Innistrad

Thanks.

As I recall, the comic wasn't very good; evil dude jams the horned crown on the angel's head, and zap! she's a Fallen Angel, then the evil dude mopes and feels guilty for most of the comic, and the story never really goes anywhere.

I believe there's another card in the game with a picture of an old witch-woman making one of those horned crowns, I don't think they ever explicitly made the connection though.

Reincarnation and metamorphis (I have an ittalian one somewhere) have TF, and volraths shapeshifter has a bizare TF. There is no process but Kamal's sister turned into Phage, and then did a fusion dance with Akroma. There was some decent art of krovacs evil conversion.

Oh man, this actually sounds super awesome, I used to play a lot of Magic as a kid and this seems like a really cool gameplay twist.

Yeah, flip cards were kind of lame. The art was cramped, the text boxes were cramped and it was difficult to figure out which side was up when they were attacking. DFCs just feel more elegant. And they were hella fun to play with in limited.

I actually still play Magic, and I have some cards I could barter (red, green, white and artefacts, right now), if anyone's interested. Nothing from Innistrad for now, but the set does have some interesting stuff.

I'm mostly a White player, but I have a bit of experience with every colors.

Oh true, I completely forgot about the Kamigawa ones! Having double faced cards would work better for sure, I really like the setting/theme that they're using. Hmmm, if only I could track down someone I can play cards with!

the instant problem I see with the transforming cards is they are Double faced, that means they are basically marked cards

Each pack of the set comes with a checklist card. You check off which card you're using from your pack and slip that card into your deck. When you play the checklist card, which has a normal back, you simply set it aside and put whichever creature it represents onto the battlefield.

One of my friends got crazy luck and scored three rares (regular, foil, and the DFC) in a single pack.
