That and Diablo3 has open beta this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if a fair amount of people from here are playing it.

Ran into plenty of those yesterday. Not surprising either, they opened up the beta to everyone but didn't have enough servers running to really accommodate that much of a rush in activity.

That's the point of this open beta. This is called a STRESS TEST for a reason. They want to put the servers under extreme conditions.

It isn't to let people play the game early, it is to see how much of a load the current servers can handle and patch up the issues caused by so many people. They did this exact same test with Diablo2.

Trust me, they actually got a lot of information about this, and have been improving it. I got on last night and the stability was on par with the pre-open stability. Didn't even have to spam to login like I did on Friday.
