13.5 hrs on the clock
Just got off from working 13.5 hrs straight (7am - 8:30 pm)
That is over 13 hrs on my feet, and over 14 hrs in a sports bra that is to tight in the chest

I once did my crazy stupid super shifts for a while. They were 14 hours long. went from 5pm sunday to 7am monday and this was after doing a 1am to 9am sunday morning shift as well. It was so hard and long and so tired....so very tired.

I sympathise. I wasn't on the job for thirteen-plus hours straight but I've been physically on the go for that long and ohmigawd I'm wiped out. Completely physically and emotionally drained.

Especially sense outside in a greenhouseish structure and involving trying to understand stupid people, trying to access a large mental database of plants, and doing heavy lifting. And being told to rearranged half the tables while still helping customers. My think meats are not working optimally after exposure to some of the stupid (I don't mind customers who do not know about plants (ignorance), so long as they are not insistently wrong (for example one insisted the sun rose in the south at their house)

You have my sympathies, Sephie. My old job had me on my feet for about 12 hours each day, often doing heavy lifting and walking on average 26 miles a day. It frickin' sucked. Still though, I'm eternally glad I didn't have to deal with the public.

I've been doing it for ages and I wear terrific bras (the only time I bind is when running) and having boobs is still inconvenient. They're awesome for feeding your family. They can be the difference between a bad and terrible day too though.
