I got my hopes up with several other movies based on the same legend, none of them delivered on a transformation scene though.

No it will be released via itunes and some other strange online media streamer but full theatrical release will be in february. There is an older low budget version though...

The older version has whatever process there is on Dutchman's site, so you can check it out there. As for the Jet Li version, I'm not too sure, you'd probably have to find the Chinese variant (if there really is one available at this time), or find someone who has it.
