I agree with most of Freeborn ideas, but I'd change some of them myself:

1) You are doomed to be a werewolf, so making that as a "blessing" makes the process uninteresting, because the pain and the fear, are automatically excluded.
2) You change into a monster, not into a wolf. Wolves are noble and beautiful animals, not violent assasins. There is not point to see that. I mean, maybe someone would love to see a girl turning into a care bear, to say an example.

Well, I have some more, but for me these are the principal ones. Of course, I also have a clear idea about how the transformation should be done, filmed and happen, but as you said, this is not the right thread .
