Considering that the FBI doesn't even know what the hell's happened just yet, it's a bit premature. I've seen people suspect everyone from the NRA to the Tea Party to American Muslims, and none of it is even remotely fair until we know better.

It says something about our current political atmosphere that none of those possibilities would really shock me. Personally, I suspect white supremacist groups (a blanket term if ever there was one) - their members have been on a murdering spree of late, and the similarities to Atlanta a decade-and-a-half ago are too striking to be coincidence.

The stark reality of the matter is that we may never know the truth; and, until we do, the Obama administration is taking the prudent course by not acting on questionable intelligence.
