You start by contributing a picture, story or clip to get the ball rolling. More often then not people will add their own finds if they're interested.

Though, there are a bunch of threads in this subforum that are basically just requests. In the end, as long as you're a prominent member of the community, or are talking about a popular enough thing, people will either not care or contribute their own stuff.
