Re: SheWolf crowd funded project

Didn't mean to bump this thread, but I had to close the 'shewolfshort' boards due to TOS violation. No adult stuff allowed. I figured I couldn't really expect all posts to be squeaky clean given the subject, so poof.

Thanks to everyone who contributed so far.

I have all the threads backed up. If anyone knows where we can go, for free, please send me a message.

On that note, I really don't have time to act as Exec Producer on this thing at the moment. If anyone wants to take over, let me know. Otherwise please have much patience.

I can answer that: In the last comic convention Anthony said that at least the pilot would be aired in mid-september. Well, I assume that they filmed the pilot between october and december, and now, after Anthony has finished to deploy his studio (you can see videos in his youtube account), it is time for new shots. So being optmistic I could say that they will have the complete series in december.
About the links, I am a bit lazy this morning... just search for "abrownrigg" or "freebornchronicles" with google :P.

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project

Short animations about werewolf transformation is good.....but for a 3D animation with 3 or 5 minutes, is very expensive.......

I want to find a 3D animator.....but with cheaper prices.....

For the moment i am working with a comic about the movie Ginger Snaps and then i want to do The Howling 1 and 2

I am working on a 3-5 minute animation, with the tf portion probably 2-3 minutes. I thinking about going outside for some help with animation as well, maybe just for in-betweening.
Also looking at buying a new rendering rig for taking advantage of GPU. Probably cost around 3K. Still estimating a 6 month render time.

This stuff takes a long time and is expensive.

This is where 3D graphics falls down, GPU's can do quick dirty HQ single frame renders in seconds but give a system a short full animation with a character, clothes, hair and a set plus camera(s) and lighting and it takes hours/days without a Render Farm. The only solutions for speed are either a Real Time Game Engine or something like iClone which again allows for Real Time Animation but still needs to render it's final output.
