I liked the tfs, to be honest. I think it's better than what SyFy has given us with Being Human to this point, and even though it is CG, I am more than happy with it. I just wish they had SHOWN. HER. DAMN. FACE. TRANSFORMING! Seriously, they always gloss over this shit, and it's even more egregious when they show the guy's, but don't show her's. That's probably my favorite part of a transformation, and it's shown in pitifully few transformations. (For females, at least)

I managed to find a safe download link, so I could watch it tonight.
My expectations were met and exceeded. I already love this show. I'm sure the next episode is going to give us more of a glimpse into her first change, but I'm already more than happy with what was on display in this episode. Not only were the TFs properly detailed, but all the scenarios were right up my alley. I don't think I'm making a bold claim to say that this is some of the best TF related content to arrive on this community's doorstep in years. I can't wait to see what else is in store for this show.

2014 is shaping up to be a howling good year! ; P

So, after I've watched it, these are my thoughts about Bitten:

1.- The first TF: Not bad, too brief and as someone said, with much missing there. If there is something I really didn't like was the sensation that this scene has been cut. I hope that with the intention of leaving the best for the next episodes.
2.- The second TF: I liked when they show her naked. Wel, it is something. The transformation itself is better than the previous one. But it has what I call the "timing-CGI problem". I mean, the TF digitally done are always too fast for my tastes, the transitions are too quick, I assume because going slower helps to see the possible fails that could be shown when deploying the effect.
3.- The angles and so on: we can see Logan's TF from an angle that I'd really like to see for Elena's. Yes, breasts and so on... but you could partially cover them with the arms in the right position, so there is no real excuse to make a TF that way. About the faces, as someone said, it si true that some more facial TF is needed, but in the trailers we can see that her first TF will have some.
4.- Future TFs: By the titles of the episodes, if everything goes chronogically like the book, we will see her first TF on episode 4, Bitten.

Well, if the TF thing goes from these places on, and we haven't been deceived with the good ones in the first place (well, not counting the "first one"), we can get some interesting stuff here. There are even some good possibilities about different scenarios (clothes on, situations, etc.) but it is up to them to make these transformations decent.
I must remark that in the book the TFs ("changes") are not explained in detail, so they have lots of room for ideas and improving.

For me, and referred only to female werewolf TFs, I'd put the second one in my personal ranking as number 3 (behind The Dark and The Hunted), and the first one not far away. They are: a) too quick and b)excesively centered in hand-face-shoulder. But I am greatly satisfied, they have kicked Being Human ass, as well as others (truee Blood, Vampire diaries).
