Re: Any good stuff from South America?
Just found this while watching old mexican horror movies on YouTube.
It's called La Loba (She-Wolf), a B-Horror flick from 1965. The werewolf makeup is cheap, but interesting enough. Sadly, no english subtitles. The female transformation starts around 1:02:00. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fCgGmen7Rs |

But yeah trust me guys... most of the TF stuff from TV at least here in México is from TV soap operas that will make your brain rot at how bad/silly they are (both on looks and acting).

You made me remember La Chacala, with Christian Bach "turning" into a sort of jackal (which actually looked like a husky) and then a demon, the latter's special effects being so shitty it was shown hiding in shadows most of the time. And yes, el Santo cartoon was great. |

Re: Any good stuff from South America?
Oh man... I remember Caminhos do Coração: Os Mutantes as being a pretty funny joke. I laughed more while watching one episode of that than any modern comedy show on Brazilian TV, but yeah low budget, bad acting... heck the whole mutant idea started as a side story that blew out of proportion because of popularity! And then it started spewing side stories after side stories and even a spin off and well... none of them were good!
I do admit though, the intentions and ideas were interesting for a country that is starved of good sci-fi fantasy writers like Brazil.
