They altered the scenes to be different from the manga and skipped the process completely!!!
I was really hoping that the RN AR TF would make up for the off-screen AP TF... But nope. It didn't happen.

But I think I have a good idea why they did such thing. During the RN AR TF scene, they added a transformation sequence of Chibimoon becoming a sailor senshi, which didn't exactly show in the manga. This can possibly mean that they sacrificed the budget they could've used to draw the AR process for that sailor senshi makeup sequence instead. Such a waste of effort if I were to say so myself...

I now give up hope on the Crystal series even if they were to get a second season featuring Hotaru. I have a feeling that they would do the same thing and skip the process for Hotaru's transformation into Mistress 9.

Yeah.. that's two very iconic scenes for me completely ruined now.. I'm done with this rendition of sailor moon. I've been iffy about it for a while now and was holding out for some of the iconic scenes that appeared in the animated tv series, but none of them have popped up yet.

When Pluto walked through the door I honestly expected something epic, I was pretty disappointed to be honest. The emotion kind of seemed to be there, but Pluto's death almost seemed rushed and emotionless. She broke the biggest taboo, I expected something bigger and more epic. lol
