Thanks! Yeah, the problem with my morphing software is that if there's any background objects near the person they get mixed up in the morph too and distort. You can see it in the rippling shelf over his/her head. I'd love to do slower morphs, but when I slow them down the problems like that really stand out.

Try using a mask to cut the people out of the shot, morph the background-less copies, then put the morph back on top of the background?

Well, I'm using an absolutely ancient morphing program, Animation Shop 3. I think it's from like 2003. I know it very well and it's simple and gets the job done. To do something like you describe using this program would be reeeally complicated, but I may try it sometime.
