That and if there was some sort of online multiplayer function. It'll never happen but I can still dream.

Exclamation A video I found on youtube

Lemme apologize in advance for the necropost (if this is one) but I recently searched youtube for "Suika" and found a ton more videos of here from this completely different game that hasnt been mentioned here or at GTS Depot that I know of. I cant read japanese, so maybe someone else can translate.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=bGzrrh_DahM

Theres many more than this, but this one seems to have the most action and growth. IMO this isnt the same game where suika is the final boss character at least from my glances at it, but possibly a later game where shes a playable character...teh mechanics seem very "Bloody Roar-ish" as the characters cant use their special attack right off the bat as it must be built up over the course of the fight and then you gain the ability to do so (like Suika's Growth) The most intresting part of this video is at the very end where the player using Suika manages to grow a good 3 times in a few seconds, but the special attack only lasts a few seconds and then she shrinks back down again.

Its intresting to see her normal sized attacks as apposed to her very limited move set while in giant loli mode, as we all haev seen from MUGEN. In this game she doesnt appear to be the best of characters however as she seems to get beat on alot.

That engine appears to be more Street Fighter Alphaish. As soon as she has one charge of the bar at the bottom of the screen she can expend it to transform, Similar to the SA2 Engine where you could enter Alpha mode.

I don't know about that. It looked to me like that bar at the bottom was a general special move gauge, as every time they did a move that looked fancier than a standard punch or kick, it drained, and they had to wait for it to recover. Plus, certain moves drained the opponents bar, so....yeah.

That could be, but would that system even be possible considering the end of the video where she grew several times very quickly?

I know a fair bit about the game, so lemme clear up some misunderstandings.

1) The only fighting game Suika is officially in so far is Immaterial and Missing Power, or Touhou Suimusou. There's a sequel coming up, but nobody's sure who's in it yet.
2) The game's "super attacks" are called Spell Cards. Suika's two giant ones are Missing Power for the level 1 card (large Suika), and Missing Purple Power for the level 2 card (larger Suika).
3) You build up Spell Card stocks by grazing (dashing through) enemy bullets. You then "declare" the Spell Card with a command input, which causes the screen to darken. Afterwards, you can activate the Spell Card you declared as many times as you have stocks.
4) The bar at the bottom is the Spirit Gauge, which doubles as both a block stun bar and as fuel for your special moves. Activating Spell Cards requires some Spirit (how much depends on the card), but declaring them does not.

This is a pretty simplistic explanation, but hopefully it'll be enough for y'all. IaMP is a pretty complex fighting game, and is fundamentally very different from other fighters. If you have any more questions, I'll try to answer them.
