Re: Nostalgia

I was talking about when the process was covered in free material on the main page back when gtdepot (I think) was hosting it

Re: Nostalgia

Ah yes wren-spot, I still visit it on the web-archives occasionally. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that there was a process site before the one I first saw. When I first started to visit here it was hosted on transfur, my computer also had a 400Mhz processor and I managed to afford a 20gig hard drive I thought I would never fill

Re: Nostalgia

i think i somehow stumbled upon WLP way way back and that was my first real BE thing.. and then that led me to FDD, and then that led me to The Stone of Adventure back in the time where lightfoot would sometimes update up to 3 pages a week, ah the glory days :] (if you're reading this lightfoot you're still the man for having the most awesome and longest running be webcomics approximately ever).
somehow it took me a few years to get from lightfoot's page to the process; i dunno why :\

Cool Re: Nostalgia

Count me in as one who used to paruse Anthony Cotto's FTP, and a bunch of old dialup BBS's like the Chicago Loop BBS, Rusty and Eddys BBS and Amazons Arena BBS before it became a website.

I agree, lol. It was pretty much the same for me, just I didn't find the Stone of Adventure until like.. last year, so it was reversed for me.

Re: Nostalgia

id say the page of boobs was my first website.
http://www.netlaputa.ne.jp/~baku/index-e.htm

i found it looking for big bust hentai as i got a thing bout viewing real people in porn. To much of the indrustry is founded on human suffering. with manga at least im not wacking to someones pain. (not like i judge thoes that do use real porn. its not like there is a "no people were harmed in the making" sticker on it.and there are tons of legal "good" porn out there.)

but thats just me and my personal code. so thank the hevens for abundant hentai. thinking of it i saw my first BE gif. on flowers of hentai. the old AMY file.
with sailor murcury getting B.E.ed wow that takes me back

Re: Nostalgia

I did not realize that there was a breast expansion fetush until I stumbled onto Dr. Ivan's site back in the mid 90's or so. Dr. Ivan eventually ended up on the BEA and now is listed as in repose.

I think this is the way I discovered BE as well. (Well, I knew there was a breast expansion fetish, I just didn't realize I wasn't the only one suffering from it.)

10 years before that, my first experiences online were via local BBSes in the mid-1980s, using an Atari 800XL computer and a 300-baud modem. No BE there, but I do remember some TF stuff -- "furry" content was the first "weird stuff" I discovered online. Text only, of course.

I blame Inflate123 and his site of Helia's stories from back when there was about... nine on it.

Re: Nostalgia

from a lot of the responses, heck even my own you can never quite discount the power of sites that were mostly stories and text... I guess we've gotten a little spoilt over the years what with faster connections, larger hard drives, greater bandwidth etc, and lets not forget the great community of artists there are now a days.
