The addventure is really as good as the groups playing with it. Right now there are two or three groups writing on it and a scattering of random authors. When there were more, there was more variety in the new ones.

It's summer, and there's not as many writers right now. This always happens. The number of posts per day is way down. It'll get better when the weather turns worse and people feel like being indoors more.

There are a lot of issues with the BE Addventure...
A lot of which comes down to - there are a lot of junk episodes on there... and it's a big mess... those are historical and a consequence of the hands off moderation policy... It's been around for 10 years, so it must have done something right and yes - at the moment it's mired in a round of DC/herms/DC herms stories but that's the cyclical nature of the addventure... it was only a few years ago that Sutibaru started the monumentally popular Transform or Dare/House of Mysterie threads... It's as MadmanDarkHeretic said - it's only as good as the people that use it... as you'd expect of anything driven by user content. Ah well. |
