It was fun, but it goes up there with Spiderman 2 as one of the top movies who's pseudoscience hurts my brain.

But as a mater of perspective. You?ve already got one loose cannon type persona in Tony Stark, his drinking binges, his irresponsible behavior, his womanizing. Justin should be the opposite. He doesn?t have to be an old man, he could simply have been more straight laced. Hell simple word choice differences using Sam would have been fine, but instead the director just let Sam Rockwell be Sam Rockwell. Sam?s persona was pretty different in Moon, but not enough to hide who he was, they could have done that. Quote:

I?ve always disliked when they change an actor in the middle of a series anyway, but both times they?ve gotten Rhodes wrong. He?s not some meek mouse, he?s a friggin solider, a solider who later became war machine, who only came about cause Tony needed more fire power to take on his own armors in the armory wars, and then later went bat shit crazy and Tony had to make a better set of armor to beat War Machine so he could fix the neural interfacing which drove Rhodes crazy from the get go. It?s the same huge beefs I have with the crap Fox called Marvel movies? Sorry really? No, that was trite I wouldn?t serve to dogs. Just slight content issues. I still give the movie somewhere from a 3.5 to a 4.5. I'm just hard on movies. I've given like... 5 stars I think twice now. I'm harsh, my friends hate my opinions about movies, but they always come to me for movie trivia. That?s fine, you can rebuttal my opinion all you want. I already know these movies are not made for comic geeks like me. Iron Man the first one was awesome, even if they used Iron Monger instead of a more rational less obscure villain. If you think my rant?s on Marvel Movies gets long, watch me bash The Dark Knight. I?ll get frothy at the mouth? and then my make up runs and I look like a raving loon? it?s just not pretty to be a fan girl comic geek. No one thinks about us. ![]()

Re: Iron Man 2 (Mild Spoiler)
I had the pleasure of seeing this at a preview screening earlier in the week.
I concur, it was awesome. I kinda wish that Tony had given Rhodey the Mark II armor instead of Rhodey taking it, but I can sorta understand why that happened in the story (Tony being all outrageous and nuts and becoming something of a loose cannon and all), but overall, I'm pleased with it. Looking forward not only to Iron Man 3, but also Thor and the Avengers. Not quite sold on the Captain America movie, but I know it's coming. |

Re: Iron Man 2 (Mild Spoiler)
As cute as Chris Evans is... I'm not sure he's Stoic enough to be Captain America... and if the reports are true he's it.

Re: Iron Man 2 (Mild Spoiler)
They got Scarlett Johansson to play Black Widow.
Natasha Romanov is the most recognizable of the widows. Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanov made every nerd boy think exactly like Tony Stark. I don't normally go gaga for onscreen ladies but her sexiness was over the fucking top. She was physical perfection, like Leonidas in 300. For all Ryan Renoylds is done, coming home to that every night is manna from heaven.
