A mistake is one thing, and it can be annoying, particularly when the rules being broken are so clearly posted. On the other hand, to ridicule someone simply because they make a suggestion that you do not agree with is pathetic also.

Power trips, man. That's all half of you are going through when you post.
Are you talking to me?

It really does suprise me how many of these new people tend ruin their first impression with the same type of post (i.e. me want link/pic./ comic/etc.) It tends to stir a resolution that people don't read when first registering. They also treat it like 411 (that's "location information services" by phone in my area). For Christ's sake this is not a bureaucratic office, its a community with dedications and interests to certain artworks.

And from what I've seen, if new people treat this forum as a bureaucratic office the community tends to treat them as a bureaucratic office would; with little to no help while adding injury to insult.

I thought of a resolution that might aid to cure the problem. I was thinking of making an illustration of what happens when you beg. But I wouldn't know what to do with it. Just and idea I thought I'd throw out there in the realm of the Twilight Zone, a place where many of these beggars belong.

edit: OH CRAP, I AM SO SORRY! My internet has been bugging out for weeks and seems like it decided to go multi-post on me, please don't ban my ass and ram my head through a brick wall, please god nooo I really didn't mean to! I just hit refresh after it said there was an error where I had to add one more character a few times but this wasn't supposed to happen! *bangs head on wall*

Err... my internet just played another trick on me apparently, sorry about that edit up there. My browser showed that I posted about seven times when it really only posted once, coming back now shows that I was wrong, sorry about crapping my pants there. I meant to say this:

Once every ten-thousand years, a lurker awakens from his slumber to see how his world has advanced. I see a bunch of new people disrespecting their elders and fellow members who happen to have a higher place here, and they don't read the rules of course. I figured I should just put in my two bits because I've been lurking for three months or so and couldn't stand posts by fishy and people remotely like him (though he's the biggest idiot I've ever seen).

(P.S. It wouldn't let me edit my edit for some reason, sorry for the inconvenience and my stupidity.)

Sigh...It seems another newbie has decided to make a request yet again, do the rules need to cover the entire page for anyone to see them?

I may not have much right to say anything having only been a member for a short while. But it's annoying to see these kinds of things posted here and for them to drag on and on with people making the same comments and then pointless arguing taking place.

So for the sake of getting everyone's message across; Any fucking newbies who post request should get some fucking eyes and see the rules posteded, have them read, and stop making stupid requests!!! (I apologize for my language)

It seems to me that there are lots of these 'no requesting' threads and would like to ask if lurkers even read the posts with no attachments. Forget the rules part, I'm still lurkish but have read the threads that mention NO REQUESTS so often that if they were focused could destroy entire planets.
