Re: much loved tf kid shows you enjoy growing up

most of the ones I remember that been said already. The ones that have not been said remember are mummies alive, Street sharks (which was all male tfs but I think it counts in this situation) and a cartoon called UBOS(ultimate book of spells) that had some interesting TFs in there last two episode but I have never found online.

This thread has reminded me that I have a load of old VHS tape that I recorded which were full of tfs that I now want to look through

I heard street sharks was gonna have female counter part the"sharketts" Matt from the super best friends said something about it. Tales from the cryptkeeper had some nice process. But it was more based on horror and b-movies.

Re: much loved tf kid shows you enjoy growing up

I remember when I was a little kid, there was this one show on YTV called (I think) Dog House, where this police officer and his k-9 companion were in their car, chasing after a criminal, when it got struck by lightning and did a freaky-friday-esk body/mind switch.
So now Officer Digby's mind got switched over to his Dog's and vice versa. Car crashes, human with dog mind dies, but dog with human mind (and can talk too) lives and now has to live out the rest of his life as a talking dog.

There was this other one called Maniac Mansion (nothing to do with the NES game) where mad scientist does various experiments on his family, turning the little boy into a hulking adult (with a child's mind) himself into a talking fly (with a human's head) and their grandfather into half a rabbit (the lower half, so legs)

I keep forgetting how much the character of Demona affected me at a young age. I've been more or less writing her character into most of my stories.

What, no Dinosaucers? Turbo Teen was another early influence, and watching Inhumanoids is one of my oldest memories. Somehow, I never developed much of an interest in seeing people turn into dinosaurs, cars or undead monsters, though. It was more TF in general that intrigued me. Specific interests like cat TF came from TMNT. Actually, I guess most of my interest came from Ninja Turtles. That intro was amazing, especially Splinter's mutation.

Well Dinosaucers never had any human to dino TFs ever, all transformation there was de-evolution and no female was ever effected, this is the process forum still we should remember the theame.

G.I. Joe had some Transformation episodes. One featured Cobra trying to make human animal hybrid solders, they how ever became human again if they ear real meat. One episode featured Cobra creating a health spa that could age regress and age progress people. Another featured a woman genetically and surgically modified by Cobra to have gills and survive in cold water. In the G.I. Joe Movie (the animated one) Cobra Commander was turned into a giant snake. And lastly in one story arch Cobra and G.I. Joe both gained access to a mystic/technological that could imbue objects with animal attributes or transfer attributes between animals. A bunch of old vehicles where given the essence of Pythons for Cobra or Tigers of G.I. Joe, justifying reissues with new paint-jobs go Hasbro marketing team. Serpentor's humanity was transferred to Cobra Commander, turning Serpentor into a giant Gilamonster and Giantsnake CC into a snakeman.

Transformers besides featuring giant robots that turned into thing other than robots also had a episode where their human friend Spike had his mind transferred to a frankenstine like robot made from spare autobot parts. Yet another episode had them going to a planet where the natives(autobot sized human basically) used a magic pool to transform themselves into merepeople. Autobot Seaspray used it to become human, Decepticon Rumble was tricked into becoming a Tree, and one of the natives used it to become a female autobot. And in a unofficial G.I. Joe cross over mobsters transferred the minds of 3 autobots to synthoids(artificial humans).

Hmm. I wanna say that there was one episode in Dinosaucers where the dinos were turned human temporarily. I have a memory of the female dino specifically being human for part of at least one episode. Also, I think there was an episode where the human side-kicks were de-volved into cavemen, and that maybe the girl side-kick was included in that.

One of the boys was devolved and one episode did feature the female human sidekick begin forced to try on a dress designed for a Reptiloian, the Dinosaucers came from Reptilon a counter earth planet(opposite side of the sun) and was basically the Reptilon equivalent of G.I. Joe (a military unit of specialists culled from the military, police and civilian sectors). Needless to say the dress, which included a tail sleeve, was not a big hit. the Dinosaucers being turned human sounds like a plot they would have done had the show got a second season. But then it's ownership is weird,, Dinoscauers is copy righted to Coca-Cola Communications, yes THAT Coca-Cola had a Communications division!

In a interesting related twist several Hasbro owned properties 80's cartoons seemed to share the same universe. G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Inhamnoids shared some characters and My Little Pony almost did too, a cut scene from the MLP G1 Movie featured Shipwreck of G.I. Joe seeing the pony Firefly a she searched Earth for a human to help Ponyland. The scene was cut early because Shipwreck was drinking in it, dismissing what he saw as too much booze. A Fanfic author decided to create the "HasbroVerse" where all those shows along with the 80's Dungeons and Dragons Cartoon shared the same Earth.

Back to topic though... Conan the Adventurer a 90's cartoon Featuring a toned down Conan the Barbarian was full of transformations, including process. The main villain was Wrath-Amon, a servant of the Evil Serpent God Set, he was a giant gilamonste like creature turned humanish by dark magic and commanded legions of Serpentmen who could disguise themselves as humans as well as dragonlike servant called Windfang who was a transformed Roman Soilder and a Skeleton Solider named Skullkur.
The main plot had Conan seeing to cure a "Spell of Living Stone" Rath-Amon cast on his family by collecting meteor metal his grandfather had forged into weapons, the metal could dispell serpemtmen's human disguise as well as banish the serpentmen to Set's prison dimension or be used to free Set.
Windfang in one episode manged to reverse his transformation but Rath-Amon kidnapped the heroine Jasmine briefly turning her into a creature like Windfang (it was a quick morph effect). Winfang exchanged himself for her and was changed back.
An episode featured Skullkur being brought back to life(mostly) to go undercover, it was the first Undead to alive TF I ever saw.
The Hero Greywolf was always followed by his cursed siblings Sasha and Misha who where turned into werewolves(non-humanoid ones) by an evil witch, feral at first they where HALF cured and stuck as Wolf/dog hybrids except during the full moon
the hero Falconer was forced to wear a hood and cloak made form a Bird demon's feathers which turned him into the demon (he got better).
Another episode featured Conan inflicted with a curse that was to turn him into a mindless Serpentman (normal Serpentmen are full sentient), naturally he found a cure.
Jasmine in one episode discovered she was a princess as well as the daughter of a Serpentman. This resulted in a later episode where Conan was forced to face his fears, include his friends becoming monsters with Jasmine turned into a serpentwoman. Then in yet another episode Conan visited a future where he died. there he found Jasmine enslaved by Set and turned into a serpentwoman, she later sacrificed herself to slow Set down while Conan escaped back to the past by turning into a giant Snake and fighting the evil God.

For me it was Superfriends. Wonder Woman kept getting TF'd into Hulk/Giantess, Troll, Bizzarro, Big Brain, even the Cowardly Lion!

Ooops!... I forgot about "Inhumanoids" when the lady scientist is transformed into a giant, decomposing, skeletal monster-girl. That cartoon was really bat$#!t.
