Silver Spoon and j2k, the Manic Gen13 commission actually has nothing to do with our commissions, the timing is just a coincidence. I called it "Ronzo Commissions part 2" simply to differentiate it from the last batch of commissions I posted from Ronzo some months ago (which were mostly BE in nature, and are posted in both the BE and 1 in the growth section of this forum some pages back).

Since no one else has been complaining about the quality of the scan and since it still looks perfect from the several computers at my place I decided to just leave it be. Thanks be to those people who have left comments thus far.

I've received a few messages asking what other anime the commissions feature, although since I am very busy and haven't received much feedback for the story OR the art I'm not sure whether I'll actually end up writing separate stories for them as well. The other pics we have are for Fullmetal Alchemist and Love Hina respectively. There are two others that are on hiatus for whenever Ronzo, who is naturally quite busy, has time to complete them. These are for Final Fantasy VII and The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. There's another image I have for Magic Knight Rayearth which could conceivably be considered AP or BE if one uses their imagination, but doesn't actually have anything specifically in the pic to identify it as such. Mayhap I'll post it along with one of the others.

If I don't find the time or inclination to write anything else, I'll just post a new pic every few days/week to keep interest going, with a break in between until whenever I can receive the rest of the pics.

Just finished reading it.

I really enjoyed it, despite myself. I usually try and avoid applying fetishes like these to anime characters I like but this piece of fiction was really well done.

The writing quality is excellent, I have to say. It doesn't take much imagination to picture what's going on. The story simply flowed on and on perfectly smoothly, with no obvious pauses or loss of clarity. The characters are captured really well and are written convincingly enough to be the genuine article.

I have to admit, I rarely take the time to read fanfics but once I started this one I had to finish it. The length isn't completely overwhelming and as a whole is paced very well. As it starts it slowly builds to the climax of the story and delivers it with aplomb, meeting the high anticipation it builds up.

I have to say, if you write the other fics I will eagerly download and read those too. It would be a terrible loss if you didn't but it's your choice and I wouldn't hold any hostility. I appreciate you sharing this with us, thank you!

Time to update this thread. 'Tis been a very busy week or so, between doing a full inventory of my place of business, getting sick, and taking care of day to day doings. That, combined with my dissapointment at the abysmal amount of responses to this thread in general (not even the forum REGULARS, who post on everything, commented, much to my sadness) meant that I didn't write a second fic to go along with the next picture. Since most people probably only come to look at the images anyways, I figure this won't cause mass bawling in the streets, lol.

The next commision is for FullMetal Alchemist and is rated R for those odd folks who don't seem to like such things. One would imagine that Ed would have learned not to screw around with Human Transmutation, but I gather there are worse ways to use the Philosopher's Stone then to improve one's sex life. At least Winry doesn't seem to mind.

I'll also repost a cleaned up version of the original Full Metal Panic! pic. The problems stemmed from the fact that these are large, mini-poster size images on paper and so I had to edit multiple scans together. As usual, enjoy.

It's sad but you're right dude, took you a bit to figure out that people usually don't like to read tales, even good ones, most want the instant gratification of a picture than the pleasure of constructing the process within the mind.
Add the fact that many don't post often (like me) and you'll have your results, however is a great couple of pics and the story, though took me a bit to understand since I haven't seen much that anime, is very good written and easy to the eyes and mind, thanks for your efforts!

The mental image from reading the fanfic was just as good as the picture that went with it. I would've loved to see the Full Metal Alcehmist story.

It's like Blar with his Supergirl story all over again...

I didn't mean to make THAT big a deal over the matter, so don't sweat it so much. I'm not really complaining, it's just nice to get people's thoughts and feedback, and the odd bit of praise for contributing something cool never hurts neither, heh. I'd rather see people enjoyin' this thread then making a fuss out of it. Also, on a side note, Ronzo is just the artist (and a dang fine one), but has nothing to do with these pics, stories, or how they get posted.

There's always the chance that I might just write something in the near future when I have a bit more time. The story idea I had for the FullMetal pic would have (I hope to god at least) been shorter and a bit less serious then the FMP! fic anyhow. I find it hard to curtail my natural writing style, so things get a bit wordy, though I'm glad to see people did enjoy it.

In any case, I'll most likely write SOMETHING for the next pic as there's no actual process in the image and lo I wouldn't want Wolf-Man Al or any of the other figurative "dogs o' war" coming after my neck for not posting relevant material here.
