Nice story, sorry I didn't realise it till now. I like how the conflict with Mary vs the body is going. It seems to be good mix with Katie helping to keep Mary grounded and thinking straight.

Just reading you story and thinking, the body keeps going on about predators like it once ran into something dangerous or just remembers.

Maybe for the future Mary could run into something that is the Body's natural enemy. Thinking of the Body reminded me of Parasite X from Metroid and how the Metroid were the only thing that could keep them check as they where the only things immune to the Parasite and could eat them.

You could do something like that where the natural enemy to the body is just as bad as the parasite itself.

Just some ideas for you ponder, otherwise great story and I hope you keep writing.

Just wanted to say I really enjoyed this story and would love for you to continue it. I really enjoyed how you developed the relationship between Mary and the The Body. With her having to come up with explanations, for not eating everything, that it can actually understand within its somewhat limited experiences. This story is one of the few I've found in the genre that is actually a story with conflict, characters and antagonists rather than a list of cool things happening to someone one after another. I would really love to see this continued as I feel it was just starting to reach a head after Mary's attack on the cops.

As a side note I was wondering how Mary, Sandra and Katie have gone so long without more contact from the cops or government since her attack seemed to be pretty high profile news.

It's been less than a day in-story since the police, and you have to remember they all saw Mary's Slasher form get its head ventilated and then get back up. At the point where Lethal Force means nothing, the equation of risk/reward gets skewed very far in the "Pull back" direction. I'm sure there will be more contact, but you have to remember, officer safety is most department's #1 priority. At the point where the report is "We shot it and it didn't do anything" their orders are probably going to be "get away from it".

I've been following along with the story on DevArt, and just found my way here. It was great to get so much more of it at once, but it's also saddening to see it on the backburner. Love the story, love the characters, love the exotic transformations.
