Have you tried Veoh downloader? You have to get an account on it, but it works just fine with IE and youtube vids.

I used to use videodownloader. When it stopped working I switched to http://keepvid.com/
works so far.

This guy only puts up Bambi Blaze. A wonder he's not banned yet.
