Re: Zombeavers

Or she turns into a Bi-sexual Zombeaver. Hmmm nice plot for a porno LOL.

Re: Zombeavers

I'm still telling you people companies that do shitty CG will do just as shitty with props and makeup. Its not a CG problem, is a production quality problem, CG just takes less actor prep time and less space in warehouse rentals.

Then again, I cant really enjoy anything on my TV anymore as there is something off with the sharpness and framerate that makes EVERYTHING look cheesy and amateurish as hell. Even LotR and Star Wars.

Re: Zombeavers

In case anyone in the New York City area has any interest in attending the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend, there is supposed to be a screening of Zombeavers.

I'm really curious to hear how much, if any, process is in the film besides what we saw in the trailer.

If you get to see it, please post your thoughts on here!

Re: Zombeavers

Just found this interview with actress Lexi Atkins from "Zombeavers"

http://www.news-gazette.com/arts-ent...xi-atkins.html

This part sounds interesting:

"My character has the biggest transformation. They put a lot of effort into the creature effects in that scene," Atkins says. "It took hours of work before going on set."

So maybe we will see more than just some beaver teeth?

If you read comments from the actors in the Teen Wolf series, they spend hours and hours to get some lenses, fake ears and bits of hair applied xD.

Re: Zombeavers

While I don't have high expectations (and don't think we will see a full transformation here), I'm still hoping to see just a little bit more than the trailer revealed. Would be funny if she's growing a beaver's tail at least.

Interesting quote, doubt we will see it happen though.

"Rubin elaborates on Hutch Dano’s reaction to Lexi Atkins’ transformation: “She’s gonna be on medication for the rest of her life.” “He just nailed that so well that we all just fell off of our chairs,” Rubin recalls. “He’s treating it like it’s a real medical condition, and she has a giant tail whapping up and down and teeth growing out of her face.”

Well now I really want to see this transformation scene.

Re: Zombeavers

Yeah I cannot wait to see how that scene turned out. Sounds like of all the characters that get bitten and turn, she is the one they spent the most time on showing the TF, which is great for us!

Now let's just hope they didn't edit the whole sequence down to like 4 seconds...

Outside of film festival screenings there's been no word on any release date for video streaming or DVD. Apparently the producers are trying to secure a wider theatrical release of some kind, which may be why they're holding back a streaming/home video release.
