It's simply a mix of film making laziness/budget and censorship troubles.
Not everything is like that though. Just, most of it.

Re: Wolves

Hollywood nowadays is all shakey cam "found footage" horror they call it, the monster films were best in the 80's

Re: Wolves

80s was best for Monster Flicks, yeah, but I'd say for Horror in general the 70s were the top of the game.

Meaning what, it did a play by play of the One True Werewolf Movie while also pretending the audience has never seen another werewolf movie?

Re: Wolves

It did the "I'm not an animal, I'm a human being" cliche combined with the "long lost family member" cliche, and "I'm the true alpha so I'm gonna bully everyone" cliche. I agree with whoever said this movie is like Skinwalkers. The hyped up tf sex scene lasted like 10 seconds then it cuts to the post-sex scene. Waste of time.

Re: Wolves

It's very clear watching the movie that this is a heavily edited down movie. I don't know why the studio decided to water it down this much, but they did. I still have a little hope to one day see the proper version of this film that was originally announced by the director.

Sorry to necro the thread but I got my hands on the unrated version from Canada and made a video of the slightly more risque sex scene which features some process. If you guys like this, I may put together a longer edit of all of Merritt Patterson's decent scenes:

Thank you man, we all know that the "extra" footage would not save the movie, but it could be very interesting for us, hehehe.

Nice.

Why does Canada get all the cool stuff? Is America so afraid of showing naughty stuff these days that we have to import even to see this much? The US is the place to go see all the violence and gore but not the T and A.
