The current game is never going to have DLC.

DC has Giganta and Elasti-Woman. Marvel has Wasp/Giant Girl (Janet Van Dyne) and Stature (Cassandra Lang). These are the only two that come to mind at the moment.

There is a new comic coming from Marvel. It features a giant Selene in the cover and according to the plot, she is looking to become a god.

Re: Super sized super heroines

I started reading the first issue of the story arc that followed the end of the Invasion, and was really interested in reading more. I'll just wait until I find the trade in my local shop. Love the art by Khoi Pham from that arc, too. I'm pretty sure he has a deviantart profile, but I can't seem to find it.

Stature & Giant Girl should be in the 3rd Marvel vs Capcom if they make it.

Re: Super sized super heroines

A game like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be marketed to people (primarily male) teenage and older, which would mean that any Marvel characters included would be from the main continuity (the continuity with Secret Invasion, Dark Reign, etc.). A comic continuity for little kids like the Marvel Adventures line wouldn't even be considered, and that means there would be no chance of Giant Girl showing up in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. And considering the huge number of characters in the main continuity, even Stature might not make the cut.

That said, I'd like to see a Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I doubt one will ever be made, though.

Highly unlikely. If Capcom even decided to go back to this franchise with Marvel, how practical would fighting as a giant character be? And you're lucky if they gave either Stature or Wasp/Giant Girl the same treatment they gave She-Hulk in Marvel Super Heroes; and she was in the background for a stage.

Okay, but you still have to see that it's up to Marvel to decide who they would want Capcom to put in the game. And, whether or not Capcom would want to go back to that franchise for a new installment.

And to agree with Sour Oblivion, and pose this question: how many people who play any of the Marvel/Capcom games read Marvel's comics? Especially now, with all the mega events with dozens upon dozens of tie-ins.

The nesest Super Hero Squad episode, "Hulk Talk Smack," introduces the Wasp to the show. And she can grow as well as shrink.
