It's B.E. but it's indirect B.E. (if you understand that my Silly Putty Golem character is a shapeshifter, THERE, now I ruined it for you.)

Wait, no. I've Photoshopped it. Looks even better.

You may be taking some creative liscence with this one being a golem and all but her right hand is backwards I think... It just looks kind of akward to me, like a tiny ballerina's foot. Otherwise nice job.

I admit there is a lack of continuity. I just drew that under the pretense that this pic happens some time in the future. I probably should have added one of those, "In the not too distant future..." quote boxes in COMIC SANS font.

Well, don't use it as an excuse for those terrible eyes. Sorry for being so blunt, but they are just terrible. If you can't draw them any better at this point, admit it and ask for help or something. And if you're simply unwilling, fine, say so. But jesus christ... At least give a valid reason for those things.

I'm honestly at a loss for words towards that image.

EDIT: Were you being sarcastic, or was that an honest-to-god attempt? I seriously cannot tell.

uhm....

Back off im' a little bit? You're kind of sounding like an asshole here demitriomni.
Just saying... Provide constructive criticism or, like someone said earlier in the thread: "If you don't like the way he draws things, don't look at em."

spongebathe83>> There are plenty of people who draw way less and post way more around here. You should indeed work on your style just a little bit, and I like the idea of your universe with golems and such but: I feel that the heart of the image is in the eyes themselves. Despite focus to things of a titular nature. ^^ Are you attempting to go with anime-esc style drawings? This is the belief of many Japanese people and the fundamental reason why some bad guys in anime have narrow beady eyes to show that they are evil. Those with rounder more open eyes have been known to have a tendency to be innocent and cuter. I haven't figured out which you want your golem(s) to be, but when you decide what kind of people they are, there exist some really good tutorials on how to draw anime style eyes. I think Sutibaru actually mentioned it earlier in the thread that you could have anime style eyes and not have shine to it to express emotionless ness.

Example:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...e+-in%3Ascraps

This is Chi from Chobits... Her eyes sometimes go kind of soulless when she is accessing her hard drive. The only thing you can see is a sort of internal light going across the bottom of her eye and a sort of hard drive esc disk sound. Just the only example that I have made in reference to the topic at hand.

Notice the opposite is true when something is meant to be cute:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/11949373/

This is Cutey Honey, the newer version that I fell in love with while I was in Japan that is. ^^ Notice the eyes are full of that shine that is supposed to promote cuteness.

I apologize for taking that a little far, I'm just overly used to being around artists that make excuses why they shouldn't improve, and his sounded eerily familiar.

Meh!

Aww damn, and you made me work in another direction and make this one. This one took a bit longer and I'm definately learning how to handle scanned images better.
btw, the funky alien-esque lookin' guy is the "Mad Scientist"; creator of the Silly Putty Golem, Plastina.

now I'm going to try multi-colored SPG's and do what's important...
BREAST EXPANSION. Particularly in sequence type frames.

Looking better spongebathe83. One more thing that you might want to work on. Making the shoulders more feminine. I hate to say it, but her shoulders are very masculine. Shrink them up a bit will you? Unless you want it that way.

Before you color your images do a little cleanup on the line art.

For example, just a simple gaussian blur + levels will both smooth and sharpen the lines up.

Smile

Among exxagerated breasts, I sort of like exxagerated shoulders. Must be the Asian in me.
