AS an artist, if a peson who puts out artwork that is less quality than a quick doodle of mine and is cheered for it, kinda offenses me. As an artist of a bit higher quality, I put time into drawings that sometimes get less compliments than what has been here. And for what, total anatomical mistakes or the low quality of the background?

It just has a low quality growth and people go crazy for it. Geez. ^_^

Just get a bit better at art Link, then I am alright with it.

I'm particular about my wank fodder, as I'm sure everyone is to some extent. Otherwise, we'd get off on everything from children's crayon scribblings to shiny hunks of metal. Besides, I can tell the difference between good enough for my penis and good enough for my brain. The former tends to get deleted from my harddrive when I'm in a purging mood, and is only confused for the latter when I'm too horny to care.

As for minimum level of quality, frankly, the vast majority of TF artists fall short of it. Many are good enough that looking at their work is not akin to stabbing hot pokers into your eyes, but precious few are without serious flaws. Compare them to most professional artists, and it's easy to tell why one is being paid for his work. Not that being paid makes you good; just look at Rob Liefeld. Or don't, and spare yourself.

In a realistic sense, my artwork with process material is a hobby. A person can admire it, or get a laugh, or perhapse they can jack-off to it. In a realistic sense, my artwork is a hobby of mine. It is not porn unless it is used it as porn.

I advise you to hold your tongue next time. And I mean by typing. Have you ever heared of Art critics? They can choose if they like the artwork and name out the quality of the art. Lorekeep can critique on the art that being posted on his own forum.

Yes, she criticized the artwork, but she also demanded that it be taken off the site, and insulted those who like it. That's just mean.


And yes, your material may be art, but it's no trying to compete with Picasso or Renoir, which I'm afraid Lorekeep thinks it's the case.

In the end of the day this is not our forum but Lorekeeps. We do not pay for any of these posts or usernames we get all this for free so in that case Lorekeeps word is law.

Oh and as for the defintion of art. It covers a extremely wide range from pornography through film production to lyrics by a 15 year old with bad mother issues because of that wide range of defintions I use that term.

I fully agree with Sutibaru. How people use the art defines what it is later but it still remains art to the owner.

Okay (pant pant) are we all in agreement then, we all have our own opinions............... We should give respect to art that WE believe is quality, whatever you definition of quality is! Each and every one us has our own opinion, but it is OPINION! We will like or dislike the art that we want to like or dislike. You do not have to agree with the next poster or the one before that.

Word. I totally agree with that. I put much efford and love into my work. I may not be the best artist, but I give my best. And it is kind of annoying that this thread gets more attention than the one of me where I startet my comic. Oh, yeah. And it really offends me if some litte jack of sees nothing in my stuff than wank material. Exactly this means you, Agustinaldo. You disgust me. If you need just stuff to wrestle the cobra you can go to any random pornpage in the infinities of the internet. We prefer quality entertainement here.
