Sarcastic comments. Flaming people. Pointing out blatent laziness/stupidity/lack of thought.

Ain't it FUN?! But I'm trying to stop because people didn't like me being mean

I'm just seeing a whole lot more of it lately from other people.

That's just due to all of us trying to pick up the slack! The community as a whole suddenly felt less abused, and had to fill in the gaping void of verbal debauchery somehow. Or maybe it's due to a distinctive lack of pie? We may never know...

My personal opinion? T'was the pie. *nods to self*

I haven't noticed this. All I really have notice is the rise of many old threads but besides that everyone seems to be the way they always have been.

You've created a red-eyed, hate-spewing rage vacuum that is being filled by others. Congratulations. XD

And the image is simply awesome. Midna definitely has a cute side.

It comes in surges. Only two of us can really do anything, though, so there's no real point in going off. Repeatedly reminding people that this is a NECRO THREAD won't work.

I guarentee you the thread will continue regardless of that.

I have an idea. If it is possible; if any new people necropost a thread without a clear and contributing reason, they are stripped of a privilege in the forum (can't post messages, no avatar/sig, no PMing (which for godsakes new people should do. PM the guy who started the thread if you have questions or props.) or anything thing in that area for a certain amount of time. Or warning bans or regular bans work just as well.

Just a thought.

The problem with ideas like that, not that I disagree with them, is will the forum software support what you're proposing. I'm not familiar enough with vBulliten to be sure. And then you essentially have to have moderators that actually do the deed, which generates work for them.

The only thing I can assume is that Lorekeep is just trying to keep a forum that, for the most part, maintains itself through the user base. All he and Sutibaru really appear to do is lock threads when absolutely necessary and delete posts asking for copyrighted material while occationally stepping in if things get too heated. There was a couple necro threads that popped up maybe a week ago that disappeared within an hour or two

That being the case, those two pretty much keep pace with that work, so I don't see a real need for any other mods.
