in the game f you do the same move over and over it stales and leaves u unable to use it effectively .

Forgot to mention, I also use Samus.

And you bet your ass I'll be using the super extended grapple hook against you (drawback: You have to manually press the button a second time to succeed in the actual grapple, otherwise it goes through the person)

Other drawback: can't grab aerial people.

Most characters can't. <_< I mean technically speaking most characters have their hitbox flags set to be able to grab characters in air or on ground, but the grab occurs so close to the ground that they might as well only be able to grab grounded characters. Well, yeah, but doing chainthrows and such, or if someone jumps up from below, being able to grab an aerial opponent is far more useful than you'd think.

...granted, Samus's grab doesn't come out at a speed that is conducive to either, but...

True, but Samus never was an air grabber. The extended Grapple makes it easier to grab onto the stage, however, when being tossed off.

I find it odd how many people don't even know you can do that with Samus/Link....

They are talking about tethering which is different from Up-B recovery.
