Image - Skiff Art

Hello all, long time listener first time caller here. I?ve been working on a little project here for the past 3 days and thought this would be the best place to get some feedback on it. Also, since I don?t have a website? it?s a ?Process? exclusive.
So here it is? like it or hate it, my art. I scaled them down in size and color for this post. They?re still just sketch work and I?ll go over them again later to finish them and add color. First I?m going to finish all the pages naturally.

On with the show?

I like it. Do continue.

the one thing I would recomend is some sort of markings or speech bubbles to mark who is saying what, or doing the text on a computer.

I agree w/Fake_Name. I like your art style, and I'm interested to see where the comic goes next. But it's very hard to read scanned pencil text, especially when it's kind of small and rather light (I mostly skipped the two long text panels). I would definitely consider just writing out your script and then using a computer program for the text.

Other than that, two thumbs way, way up, Gene. (And Fake_Name, I think your avatar is planning some devious scheme... those closed eyes are just a facade!)

If you have Adobe Photoshop, you can click "shift+ctrl+L" and it fixed all of the darks and lights.

But it looks good man. A lot of reading, but that is usually good.

Not bad work, really! I think you only need to apply on backgrounds to get a better effect, but bodies are good, faces too...

I also suggest, if you like to have an "own place" beyond this board, to create a Yahoo group to show your artworks... This is simply an idea: new painters born from simply things...

With this much stuff, it'd be great if you started moving from posting on here to updating some type of art dump site (Like Deviantart) then linking updates, or something of that measure

Lorekeep...
Sallright if you delete this thread and I just start another with just stuff for part 2... or would you just prefer I go to deviant art instead...
Up to you it is your forum. I just figured this is less bagage posting here.
...oh and did you want higher quality files of the first part for your donations on the main site?
...or nevermind...

Yah and I just checked on Deviant Art. "No Adult material" in there terms of service... So I'm out. (I don't think cheep cartoon "BE" P0rn is "in good taste.")

I am however going to look into getting my own EL-Cheepo server going. We'll see... I hope.

Skiff I'm gonna be more leinent on you since you produce original content, so go ahead and keep this thread going.

It might be nice if you consolidated all your stuff in the first couple threads for all to see instead of digging through the thread?

Cool... but still, go ahead and delete this thread. I'ma start a new one with the right title. I'll repost the first part and start with the second part and build on to it like I did to this one.

It'll Keep things neet and tidy.

Peace out.

cool feedback... Lets see.

yeah when I go over them finaly I'll CG it and add text boxes.

I kind of figured that people would have a hard time reading it. which is ok, if I hurt your eyes. Cuz I hurt my had writing it. They are sketches after all.

I use Paint Shop Pro 5. No need to read most of the text now, when I CG it it'll make it worth the read again.

I was planning on making 3D backgrounds... Really cheep ones using Half-Life 1 Worldcraft map editor. Since I have no 3D modeling programs. (good ones). The're not horrible.
