TF in Uncanny X-men 456-9

Saw this in the comic a few days ago. Rachel Grey and the X men face off against evolved dinosaurs, who have their own superpowered dino x-men equivalents. One of which is a telepath, who half way through the fight telepathically causes Rachel Grey to transform into R'chel, an evolved sauriod. Rachel then aids the dinos in defeating the rest of the X men.

At first the change is only mental, although you do see her "mental image" change, and she walks like a dino and acts like one, but as the comic progresses she becomes more and more sauroid in body. It turns out that her subconscious is using her telekinesis to change her DNA to make her into a Sauroid. The sauriods realize this, but instead of doing something cool like using her power to rewrite all the xmen into X-dinos, they instead concoct a plan to use Storm's powers to destroy the earth and reclaim it for dino kind, which of course backfires and returns R'chel to Rachel and frees her from the mental control. Truly a pity.

Reading that plotline made me officially wonder how on earth people can follow comic book storylines without their heads exploding

Scott started cheating on his wife before her death with Emma Frost and is still banging the White Queen despite his Wife's very recent "death".

Ask and ye shall receive. These are all the shots where her changes are evident or discussed. You can see her mental image slowly encroaching upon her physical form. Even into the issue after the arc she keeps the reptilian eyes for awhile, which I thought was a nice touch.
